Empowering Teachers. Supporting Learners.
LearnBridge Edu was built to empower Ghanaian teachers and learners
through curriculum-aligned tools and AI-driven support.
Our Story
Why We Built LearnBridgEdu

In September 2019, the Ghana Education Service (GES) rolled out the Standards-Based Curriculum (SBC) — a bold and ambitious move aimed at transforming education in Ghana.
With its focus on critical thinking, creativity, and learner-centered instruction, the SBC seeks to shift classroom practices away from rote learning toward more dynamic, interactive, and competency-based teaching.
But as teachers ourselves, we quickly discovered that this transformation, while promising, came with a steep learning curve.
Across classrooms in Ghana — especially at the Senior High School level — teachers have been grappling with new demands:
🚧 Unfamiliar lesson planning formats that demand time and adaptation
🧠 Shifting pedagogical approaches centered on creativity and critical thinking
📘 New curriculum terms, structures, and learning expectations
📊 Evolving assessment methods focused on competencies over content
🔄 A broader shift toward performance standards and reflective teaching practice
This wasn’t just a curriculum change — it was a complete reorientation of what it means to teach and learn.
At LearnBridge Edu, we asked ourselves:
“How can we bridge the gap between education policy and the realities of classroom practice?”
Our answer? A platform designed by educators, for educators.
